Invicta 24 Plus has received an overall Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, with the service rated Good across all five assessment areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. The result reflects our continuing commitment to delivering reliable, person-centred homecare and supporting people to live safely and confidently in their own homes.
A positive result across all five areas of care
The Care Quality Commission, commonly known as the CQC, is the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England. Its assessments examine whether registered services provide care that is safe, effective, caring, responsive to people’s needs and well-led.
In the latest assessment of Invicta 24 Plus, all five areas received a Good rating:
- Safe: people are protected from avoidable harm and abuse.
- Effective: care and support help people achieve good outcomes and maintain their quality of life.
- Caring: people are treated with kindness, dignity, compassion and respect.
- Responsive: services are organised around people’s individual needs and preferences.
- Well-led: leadership, governance and workplace culture support the delivery of high-quality care.
What this means for people using our service
A Good rating provides independent reassurance to people receiving care, their relatives and professionals involved in arranging support. It demonstrates that Invicta 24 Plus has systems in place to assess people’s needs, manage risks, support staff and monitor the quality of care.
Our approach begins with listening. Every person has different routines, abilities, preferences and goals. Care should therefore be planned with the individual and, where appropriate, the people who matter to them. Plans are reviewed as needs change so that support remains safe, suitable and respectful.
Supporting safety and wellbeing at home
Safe homecare depends on clear information, dependable communication and staff who understand the person they are supporting. This includes identifying risks, following agreed care plans, supporting medicines appropriately and recognising when a person’s health or circumstances may have changed.
Staff recruitment, induction, training and supervision are also important parts of safe care. Invicta 24 Plus works to ensure that care workers understand their responsibilities and have the knowledge required for their roles.
Care built around dignity and independence
Receiving support should not mean losing choice or control. Person-centred care protects dignity while helping individuals do as much as possible for themselves. Support may include personal care, maintaining everyday routines, preparing for appointments or helping someone remain comfortable and connected in their own home.
Invicta 24 Plus is registered to provide personal care and supports adults with a range of needs, including older and younger adults, people living with dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and physical disabilities.
Committed to continuous improvement
A positive inspection result is an important achievement, but quality must be maintained every day. We remain committed to learning from feedback, supporting our staff, reviewing care arrangements and working with individuals, relatives and other professionals to improve the service.
